Tennessee Ridge Runners
If you live in Tennessee, you may want to consider joining the HAPPY TENNESSEE
TRAVELERS chapter. They currently have 27 member coaches and they’re accepting
new members. Chapter dues are $25 per year and an initiation fee of $10 applies to new
members to cover the costs of name badges. Members receive the chapter newsletter,
The HTT Newsletter, monthly during the chapter season, April through October.
Weekend rallies are held each month during the same period, usually in Tennessee
unless the rally host selects another location. Rally fees are $10, excluding camping
expenses. Children frequently attend the rallies, but no special activities are planned for
them. Members enjoy campfires and games as they share the joy of fellowship. They
also take pride in not having any cliques within their group.

The KENTUCKIANA TRAVELERS chapter functions within a 150-mile radius of Louisville,
Kentucky. The 38 members of this chapter pay annual dues of $20 per year. The
initiation fee of $10 provides chapter name badges for new members. Chapter news and
events are published in a monthly newsletter. Rally fees average $5 per rally for the
weekend rallies held during the months of April through October. Usually 25-35 coaches
are in attendance at rallies. Planned activities include card and board games, campfires
and potlucks. Special Halloween activities are planned for children during the October
rally. This well organized and friendly group welcomes new members.

KY KY HORSE SHU KRU rallies are held in Kentucky and the surrounding states during
the months of April to November. Usually 10-20 coaches attend the scheduled Friday-
Sunday rallies which, with some exceptions, are held the second weekend of each
month. Some coaches choose to arrive at the rally site early to enjoy additional days of
camping together prior to the beginning of the scheduled rally. Rally fees are $10 per
coach excluding camping fees.
Attendees frequently dine at a local restaurant on Friday evening and share a covered
dish supper on Saturday evening. Breakfast is often provided on Saturday and Sunday
mornings. Thematic rallies related to Christmas and Halloween are sometimes
In the months of January-March, when Kentucky weather discourages camping, many
club members meet at a restaurant each month to continue old friendships and look
forward to a new camping season.
A monthly newsletter provides chapter and rally information to the 25-30 chapter
members. New members are welcome to join this friendly group. Dues are $20 per year.
There is a $10 charge for badges the first year of membership.

The LET’S ROLL chapter currently has 26 members; most of whom live in Kentucky.
Chapter dues are $20 per year. Chapter name badges are provided with the additional
initiation fee of $10 for new members. Weekend rallies are held monthly from April to
October in Kentucky, Indiana and Tennessee. Rally fees, excluding camping expenses,
are approximately $5 per person. Members enjoy the fellowship of greeting old and new
friends at their rallies, as well as the shopping, eating and story telling.

There are about 100 members (coaches) in the TENNESSEE RIDGE RUNNERS.
Chapter members live in Tennessee and states in the Southeast. Dues are $10 per year
with an initiation fee of $30 for new members to cover the cost for name badges. Usually
40 to 100 coaches attend their rallies, which begin on Friday and end on Sunday. The
rally fees, excluding camping expenses, are about $30-$35 per person, and rallies are
held in April, June, August, October and December. Activities at rallies include golf,
games, cards, day tours, local sightseeing and Red Hat events for ladies. The
newsletter, the Tennessee Tattler, is published 5 times a year. Chapter members are
proud to call themselves friendly and sociable.
